In 1893, the Great Southern Railway reached Cuballing, connecting the town to Perth and other parts of Western Australia. The arrival of the railway was a major turning point in the town's history, as it allowed farmers to transport their goods to market easily and quickly.

The railway also brought new people and businesses to the town, as traders and workers moved to Cuballing to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the growing agricultural industry.

World War II and Beyond
